6 Bollywood Stars Who Started Their Career As Junior Artist

Every year Bollywood attracts a lot of people and end number of people reached Mumbai to try their luck. Bollywood is not less than any dreamworld for any aspiring artist who wants to become a superstar or wants to get an entry in the showbiz world. There are many artists who worked really hard but never reach that level of success in Bollywood. Although there are many stars in Bollywood who worked hard and tasted success in Bollywood and managed to enter in the list of most successful stars of Bollywood. Here, we are sharing the list of Bollywood stars who started their career as a junior artist in the Bollywood, but today enjoying the stardom in Bollywood industry.

Shahid Kapoor: We can’t forget his performance in the movie “Jab We Met” which made him one of the successful star of Bollywood. But, long before this movie, he entered Bollywood as a junior artist. He first time appeared on a big screen in the movie “Taal” as a background artist. He got his first break as a lead actor in the movie “Ishq Vishk” in 2003. He consistently worked on his acting and dancing skills and delivered many memorable performances in the various movies.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui: He is no doubt a very talented and versatile actor of Bollywood. His first big role which brought him in limelight was in Sujoy Ghosh’s movie “Kahaani”. But he started his career in Bollywood as a junior artist in the movie Sarfarosh. Though the movie was a big hit, no one noticed him in that movie.

Irfan Khan: He is one of the most polished actors of Bollywood. He started his career with the movie “Salaam Bombay”, directed by Meera Nair. He played the role of a young letter writer in that movie which was not much noticed by the people. He received his first big break in the movie Maqbool which became the turning point in his career. He played various significant roles in different movies.

Mithun Chakraborty: His first Bollywood movie was “Mrigayaa” which released in 1976. He also received a national award for the same. But, after receiving the most prestigious award in the country, he got a very small role in the movie “Do Anjane”. In that movie, he got a very small role, but he managed to grab the attention of people with his powerful performance. After that, there was no looking back for this great actor and he ruled the Bollywood for almost two decades.

Karan Johar: He is known as one of the best directors who Bollywood. Most of his movies are based on family, love, and emotions. Till date, he has delivered many hit movies, but before directing any film he made his on-screen debut in one of the mega-blockbuster movie “Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge”. In this movie, he played the role of Shah Rukh’s friend. He played a very prominent role in Anurag Kashyap’s movie “Bombay Velvet”. Diya Mirza: This gorgeous diva made her acting debut with “Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein” opposite R. Madhavan. She has been remembered for her beautiful performance in the movie and her great chemistry with R. Madhavan. But, actually, she first appeared on the big screen in a Tamil movie where she appeared as a background dancer in a song.
